- Andrews Products grinds its cams using a computer with cam design capabilities. This superior technology gives the utmost in both performance and reliability. Only the best alloy steel billets and heat-treating processes are used. The power in a Harley Twin Cam engine is completely released only when superior Andrews computer-designed high-performance cams are installed. Cams come with new bearings (1 roller and 1 ball). Andrews recommends using their steel cam drive sprocket DS-199175 and crankshaft cam drive sprocket DS-199074 (must be purchased separately)
TW21 GRIND CAMS- Bolt-in cam with more torque at low and middle prm range (1,700-5,200 rpm)
- Similar to EV23 for heavy bikes
- Work well with either fuel-injection or carburetor
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
TW26A GRIND CAMS- Bolt-in cams for low rpm torque and two-up touring
- Add more torque and horsepower at low and middle rpm range (1,800-5,500 rpm)
- Work well with either fuel-injection or carburetor
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
TW31S GRIND CAMS- Great cams for motors with 9.8 to 10.2 compression ratio
- Lower TDC lift for easy installation
- Similar to TW37 with different timing (2000-5600 rpm power range)
- Can be used with stock springs and tappets
TW32H GRIND CAMS- High lift version of 31H
- Much more power thru rpm range with 10:1+ compression pistons (2,800-5,600 rpm)
TW37B GRIND CAMS- Bolt-in cams for 88”,95” or 96” motors
- Smooth idle, broad torque band
- Run best with low restriction exhausts (2,200-5,800 rpm)
- Work well with either fuel-injection or carburetor
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
TW44 GRIND CAMS- Bolt-in cams for motors with 9.5:1 compression ratio or higher
- Maximum torque and horsepower at middle and upper rpm range (2,400-6,000+ rpm)
- Work best with carburetor
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
TW50 GRIND CAMS- Maximum torque and horsepower at higher rpm ranges
- For lighter bikes and engines with a 9.5 compression ratio or higher (2,600-6,000+ rpm)
- Can be used with stock valve springs and tappets
54H/TWH4 GRIND CAMS- Designed for 96" and 102" motors with up to 10: 1 compression ratio
- Cams work best at rpm range of 2200-5600
TW55 GRIND CAMS- Maximum torque and horsepower at higher rpm ranges (2,600-6,000+ rpm)
- Designed for engines with 9.5:1 compression ratio or higher
- Coil bind should be checked; can be used with stock tappets
TW60A GRIND CAMS- Require high-lift valve springs and collars
- Use with low restriction exhaust (2,400-6,000+ rpm)
NOTES: 00-06 model cams use a splined cam drive sprocket. These cams will fit in the 1999 Twin Cam motor, but the splined cam drive sprocket OEM #25716-99 or DS-199175 must be used.Installer must check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance.
